BAND-IT employees partner with Food Bank.

BAND-IT IDEX^®, INC., The World’s Leader in Engineered Band Clamping Systems partners with Food Bank of the Rockies to help feed local families within the community.

In June of 2015, a band of BAND-IT volunteers took on the challenge to work with Food Bank of the Rockies to help fight hunger. After the training orientation, the BAND-IT team eagerly went to work to unpack, clean, categorize food into specific groups, package, and palletize. Once the packages of food are completed, workers stage the items in the warehouse ready to deliver to needy families.

The BAND-IT volunteers packaged over 7,000 pounds of food in just 4 hours. Their effort equates to feeding approximately 500 Colorado families within the community. With two more scheduled dates on the horizon, the BAND-IT volunteers are dedicated to giving back to the local community.
