Heat & Sound Shield Fastening
BAND-IT exhaust shield fastening systems are used by many of the largest Tier I exhaust manufacturers in the automotive industry.
Hose Clamping
BAND-IT offers 3 systems of performed band clamps, Center Punch, Junior® Smooth ID, and Ultra-Lok®, in addition to a Worm Gear style clamp for lighter duty or temporary hose assemblies, and a Universal clamp used for cv-boot clamping.
Hose Sleeving with JS Clamps and IT Series Tools
Among common sleeve clamping methods, the BAND-IT JS clamps had the highest retained force and most consistent installation when installed with the IT Series Pneumatic Tools. As a comparison, the strength of the 3/8” JS clamp was compared to other common hose sleeve clamping methods using an Axial pull test.
Hose Sleeving with Tie-Lok Ties and IT Series Tools
For hose sleeving applications where cost is a concern, but strong retained force is also necessary, BAND-IT offers the preformed TIE-LOK® tie. Installed via the handheld pneumatic IT1000-C tool, the TIE-LOK tie is an excellent choice for hose sleeving applications.
