Statement on the Coronavirus

March 23.2020

Updates are now in reverse chronological order. We will continue to update this page as the situation progresses.

Update 8/1/2020:

BAND-IT is transitioning back to a normal schedule for our production and shipping departments. To minimize the number of people in the facility, our employees currently working remote will continue to do so.

Update 4/8/2020:

In an effort to reduce potential interaction and exercise an abundance of caution, BAND-IT will be transitioning to a reduced shipping schedule starting April 13th, shipping product Tuesday – Friday. Our normal business hours (Monday – Friday) will remain unchanged for all other roles, such as inside/outside sales, customer service, order entry and finance.

Please be aware of this adjusted schedule when placing orders.  Orders placed on Mondays will continue to be entered, but will ship out in the Tuesday – Friday window.

Update 4/6/2020: BAND-IT was notified of a confirmed case of COVID-19 with one of our employees that was last in the building on Friday, April 3, 2020. To protect the health of our employees and so that we could assess the situation, we temporarily halted production and shipping at our facility in Denver, CO. We deep cleaned all of the exposure areas and the facility will reopen for our regular shifts, using the health precautions we have already instituted, Tuesday April 7, 2020. We take the health and safety of our employees very seriously and are confident that we have thoroughly sanitized the factory.

Update 3/16/2020:

Like many of you, we have spent the last couple of weeks learning about the coronavirus and how its spread is impacting our world. For BAND-IT, that means understanding how it affects our customers, suppliers, employees and communities around the globe. Our executive team is closely monitoring the situation and have made some initial changes to protect the health and safety of our employees. This plan includes restrictions on business travel, requiring employees not come to work when sick, displaying posters with preventative tips, enhancing facility cleaning protocols, limiting visitors, and implementing remote working options for our employees to limit risk of exposure.

Currently we are open and shipping product, but as this is a dynamic situation, that could change. In addition, we are working with our suppliers, logistics partners, and local government to understand and limit potential disruptions within our business.  We will continue to monitor the situation and update you with information as necessary.
