BAND-IT’s Distribution Network Ready for Quick Delivery of Products to Support Hurricane Ian Rebuilding

Whether it’s ULTRA-LOK band and buckle, brackets, JS Clamps, or standard band and buckle, our distribution network is ready to assist the recovery effort with sign mounting, pole and tower attachment, lay-flat fluid transfer hose repair/clamping, and other critical applications as Florida rebuilds after Hurricane Ian.

As soon as the storm cleared BAND-IT’s commercial team began dialing our distribution partners in and around Florida. The first question was “Are you ok, are you safe?” followed by “How can we help?”. What we heard over and over was that the distributors were bracing for an onslaught of orders as Florida moved from rescue to rebuilding. They also expressed concern over how the recent global supply chain disruptions could hamper the rebuilding efforts. The commercial team brought those concerns back to our Operations team so that they could plan for the change in product demand.

Through this team effort BAND-IT was able to ship product to our distributors so they would be ready to support the rebuilding effort in Florida. The process of rebuilding will take time and we’re committed to supporting our distribution partners so that they can get products delivered quickly to the effected areas of Florida.

Additionally, The IDEX Foundation, the charitable arm of our parent company,  made a $50,000 donation to the American Red Cross to aid in the relief efforts.
