BAND-IT and Mile High United Way Renew Partnership for 2022

BAND-IT and Mile High United Way kicked off our 2022 Volunteer Schedule with an event at Denver Children’s Advocacy Center and a $50,000 donation to Mile High United Way from the IDEX Foundation, the charitable arm of IDEX, our parent company. 

Volunteers from several different departments within BAND-IT spent the day sprucing up the Denver Children’s Advocacy Center’s indoor and outdoor spaces used for counseling and meetings with families. From touching up paint to some heavy lifting in the garden, 15 volunteers from BAND-IT gave back to an organization seeing a huge spike in reports of child abuse since the pandemic. Last year alone they provided 7,204 mental health treatment sessions and 688 forensic interviews. 

BAND-IT is committed to supporting and giving back to the communities where we live and work and our partnership with Mile High United Way connects us to the organizations most needing our assistance.
